Mom to Japan

Mom arrived in Japan on 08 March. I flew from the ship to Haneda airport in Tokyo and had to pick her up at Narita airport. It was a 2-3 hour trip between airports, but overall it was a good break from being on the ship. Once at the airport, I notieced several television cameras and people dressed in black coats with ear buds and microphones hidden in their jackets. After about 10 minutes, out walks Tom Cruise and Kattie Holmes with their new child!! Weird what life turns up sometimes. I called Susan and the first thing she said was "HANG UP and TAKE PICTURES!!". None of the pictures I took came out, but it was still an interesting spin to the day.

After getting mom from the airport, we transited from Tokyo to Yokosuka via bus and have seen a bit of the city of Yoko. Below are the pictues from her camera. Hope you enjoy and will update when we can.

38 weeks....

Boy!.....Hot flashes, Hot flashes!!! They are horrible. This is a photo of me and one of my many hot flashes.

UPDATE: Just had my 37 week appointment today and staying steady at 22 pounds total weight gain. I cant complain but boy do I feel heavier. haha! Doc says that Jacob's heart rate sounds good and that he sounds happy in there. He better STAY happy cause he has 11 days until Daddy and Grandma get here. I tell him everynight that he has to wait for them. He just says, "Kick, Kick" but we have an understanding.


I am 37 weeks and 2 days, but feel like I have grown just in a couple of days. Here are more belly shots...

37 weeks...

Today marks my 37th week of pregnancy. YAY baby Jacob is full term now. So we have 3 more weeks left and really hope that Jacob stays in there just until Dave and his mom get home on the 8th of March. I feel like I have no more room in the belly for Jacob to grow anymore. He has positioned his butt on the upper right side of my belly and OUCH, it hurts mama! I tell him every night that he is getting a spanking as soon as her gets out. I believe that he has "dropped" because things feel a little different. I have discussed with the doctors that I did not want to be examined until Dave gets home so nothing happens before it is suppose to. He is head down as of my last appointment last week and will make sure it is the same this week at my appointment. I think he is a pro so far with throwing himself from side to side at night time. When I get ready to go to bed he decides to throw punches. Here are a few photos of me at 37 weeks.

35 weeks...

I am now 35 weeks along and Dave is not here so I have to post photos for him to see. Here is big mama! hehe...

Jacob's Room...

Today I received my bedding from my sister cause like everything, the store would not ship it here. This makes Jacob's room complete. I LOVE it and hope that everyone else does too! I can not wait until he gets here to use every inch of it. Its bright and happy and that is the look I was going for. Thank you to all of you that made this possible. :) Here are a few photos and YES Dave I did go back and get the blanket that you said not to get. HA HA! I am spoiling him already. He is still getting a spankin when he gets here cause he is a pain in my RIBS! Oh there is a belly shot and yes those are stretch marks.
