2 weeks old...

Today Jacob is 2 weeks old. We took a walk around the base here to see the cherry blossom trees. Today is also open base and allows all the japanese residents on base to look around and enjoy american food, music and ship items (shirts and hats). Here are a few of our photos from today. Dont worry, mommy only had about a half of a beer. Mmm it was yummy. Oh and don't worry Aunt Dawn, Jacob did not really drink the starbucks. Mommy Susan is taking care of her baby.

First bath in the tub...

Yesterday Jacob's cord fell off. So today I was able to put him in the water for his first bath. He loved it! He was so cute. Here are a few photos. Wow in two days he will be 2 weeks old. Boy how time flys!!!

1 week old now...

Jacob is now one week old and is going great. I dont think we could have asked for a better baby. He is a great sleeper at night. This is good for mommy to get her beauty rest. haha Daddy is getting plenty of sleep these days too but often I hear him complaining about how tired he is. I often think, if I were to wake him for the night feedings how tired would he really be? Men! Ughhhhhh hahaha

Here are a few photos of Jacob at one week old.

Japanese grandma...

My friend Kayoko and her mother, Mitsuko came to visit Jacob and brought us some goodies. They brought me strawberries, chocolate and flowers from her garden, Dave some snack cracker and Linda aka "Gremlin" some snacks and a pretty bowl. They were so happy to visit with little Jacob. Mitsuko said that she makes a good grandma. haha Here are a few photos from there visit. Mitsuko also made the wonderful blanket that is in the photo for Jacob.
